This fall, Polo Ralph Lauren will mark a philanthropic milestone with
the 10th Anniversary of
Pink Pony – the Company’s global initiative to
raise awareness and funds in support of the fight against cancer.
Launched in 2000, the Pink Pony Fund supports programs for cancer
screening, early diagnosis, treatment, research and patient
navigation.

In the last decade, the Pink Pony Fund has made philanthropic
contributions and partnered internationally with some of the world’s
leading cancer organizations. In 2003 Polo Ralph Lauren furthered
its commitment to the fight against cancer by establishing the
Ralph
Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention
in Harlem, New
York, a unique partnership with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer
Center.

“I am so proud of the work Pink Pony has accomplished over the last
10 years,” says
Ralph Lauren. “We are committed to the worldwide
fight against cancer and will continue to help change the lives of so
many affected families.”

To kickoff this fundraising and awareness campaign, Polo Ralph
Lauren will present the first global Pink Pony Online Auction in
partnership with Charity Buzz. The auction will showcase over 200
unique items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences ranging from luxury
travel, art, sports, fashion and rare collectibles. 100% of net proceeds
from this auction will benefit the Pink Pony Fund of The Polo Ralph
Lauren Foundation. The online auction begins Friday, October 1st
and runs through October 21st at
Charitybuzz.com/RalphLauren.
