A MODEL MOMENT

Jessica P’s doll-like features and endless limbs are fast ensuring her “it girl”/go-to status amongst British fashion designers. The 17-year old fledging model has a loyal fan-base in British
design duo Clements Ribeiro, having appeared in their fall/winter 2011 look-book, several of their presentations, as well as a walk down their spring/summer 2011 runway show. A new
face at Models One, Jessica P has made herself known by happily trotting down the runway for ethical fashion favorite Prophetik and British High Street giant Karen Millen. It’s little wonder
she’s making friends quickly with her gung ho attitude. Her most recent shoot took place on a farm; with chickens in hand and several farm visitors gawping at her- a decidedly
unglamorous situation, which could cause a less plucky model to crumble, but not Jessica P.
In an ideal world, Jessica P. would love to star in campaign along with her fellow compatriots-cum-supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lara Stone and she is going someway to
following in their footsteps having graced the pages of British Elle and Elle Italia. Her game plan for the next 10 years is to walk for Victoria’s Secret and shoot a cover for Vogue. Ambitious
ideas they may be, but with that creamy porcelain complexion and such a glossy shock of golden hair, anything is possible.
On her off-days, when she isn’t busy modeling for talk-of-the-town designers like Simone Rocha, Jessica is happy to kick back and watch ''Mean Girls," a film she knows every word to and
insists never gets old. Clothes-wise, she’s a sucker for British brand Burberry but, for summer, she can’t help but go back to her trusty pair of wedges, which aren’t only super comfortable
– they also go along with everything. This summer Jessica P. is off to South Africa for six weeks and then over to the States for some down-time with her boyfriend. Wherever she is, she will
be sure to pack a tinted moisturizer with a high SPF (her hands down must-have beauty product) and to try her best to fit in as much swimming as possible- an activity she credits with
helping keep her long, lean and relaxed. Jessica P. says that the best advice she’s ever been given came from her dad, 'keep grounded, be nice to everyone you meet and go for it'. By all
accounts, it’s an attitude that is yielding great results and great success.
