It has now become firmly established as a popular industry get-together and one of the most eagerly awaited events during
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin: the Mercedes-Benz & Vogue Fashion Night held at the restaurant Borchardt. On
Wednesday evening the movers and shakers in the fashion industry and numerous VIPs again accepted the invitation of
Christiane Arp, Editor-in-Chief of German Vogue, and Anders Sundt Jensen, Vice President Brand Communications Mercedes-
Benz Cars. Around 350 guests celebrated and chatted until well into the night over drinks and finger food.
Twenty-twelve is set to be an especially exciting and groundbreaking year in the fashion industry. In addition to the first day’s
shows in the event venue on Straße des 17. Juni, the global economic situation and its effects on the industry was naturally a
topic on everyone’s lips. It is precisely this blend that makes the Mercedes-Benz & Vogue Fashion Night so popular – it is now an
established date where the fashion industry and VIPs can exchange views on current topics in a relaxed ambience.
The mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit was present at the power-player event as well as photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager,
who created the key visuals for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Celebrities such as topmodel Karolina Kurkova,
