If you think the words high-fashion and Martha Stewart don’t go hand-in-hand, you
better think again. In the 60s, the media mogul ruled the catwalks of New York City.

The week of December 7, 2009, our favorite hip hostess reminded the world of
fashion that she still has not lost her flair for all things fabulous. Stewart stylishly
surprised her cooking, gardening, and homekeeping loving audience on
Tom Ford (Dec. 9) and Roberto Cavalli (Dec. 10).

This special unexpected double dose of designer dish deserves to be recognized,
which is why Fashion Q&A has named "The Martha Stewart Show" during the week
of December 7, ‘The Best Show in Daytime TV.’

Ford joined Stewart in-studio to chat about his new movie, “A Single Man,” which took
him 5 years to make. “Directing is like designing. It’s the most permanent thing we
can create,” shared the former creative director of Gucci. Cavalli, known for his
evening gowns, flew in from Italy to promote his clothing line with a glamorous
holiday fashion show. “One day I would like to make a special dress for you," said
Cavalli to Stewart. "I would like really to know you better because I need to know your
personality…a special woman, a special dress."
