Wedding Style
Guide 2011
This Wedding Season give yourself
the Royal Treatment
With wedding season already in full gear, the trends have been set. For the bride, there’s
lace, modern romance, mixing fabrics, textures and a covered up new kind of sexy. And for
the bridesmaids, a sea of blues and flesh tone nudes. If you are planning your nuptials or
soon to be a wedding guest, fear not! Here are a few tips to keep you in royal fashion.

Get Duchess Kate’s Look
The Duchess stayed true to her personal style wearing a custom made Sarah Burton for
Alexander McQueen gown that gave a nod to old world elegance. With a fitted bodice made
of antique lace, a full skirt and a train spanning over 8 feet, Kate’s look was sophisticated and
timeless much like her every day wardrobe.

When selecting a gown remember:
  • It’s the details that matter, even the simplest of gowns can be stunning when using
luxurious fabrics like silk and organza, embroidery and embellishments like
    Swarovski crystals

  • Stay true to your personal style, if you’re a free spirited bohemian type, opt for
something ethereal and romantic to ensure you are comfortable and confident on
    your big day

  • Don’t be afraid to add a pop of color, or if you frown on traditional all together, a gown
in an ivory or nude shade
