For most people, the runway shows in New York City are exciting
because of the clothing, the celebrity sightings and the fabulous
parties.  For others, its all about the new “it” girls and guys who will be
tearing up the runways sporting a new season of designs. For some of
these young stunner's it will be their 2nd or 3rd time doing shows, but
for many it will be a completely new experience filled with angst and
overwhelming stress. Here are 3 hot new faces from the men’s and
women’s board that you should keep your eyes on.  They are doing big
things and are rumored to be the next big stars in the modeling arena.

It was predicted early that Abby Lee,
who is represented by Next would be
the season's break out star.  The
moment this 18 year-old Aussie
landed in New York casting directors
lost their minds over this girl.  The
next thing you knew, Abby was
racking up editorials from Vogue to
Numero and pranced down last
seasons runway for designers
including Oscar de la Renta and
Marc by Marc Jacobs and was
immediately catapulted to the top 50
models rated on Models.com.
Arlenis, the Dominican beauty who was
scouted in her home country on her
way to school can be seen in glossies
such as the new All Black Italian Vogue
by Meisel, and American Vogue shot by
Norman Jean Roy.  This will be the
debut season for this Marilyn models
sensation.
Sarah Stevens is the quintessence of
cool when you think of some of the newer
models. The sweepstakes for the SS/08
shows are in the bag for Next's new rising
star. I'm positive that all the "blue chip"
clients will follow suit and will swoop up
this potential top model a thet end of this
season. You can see Sarah's editorial
debut in the new issue of Numero shot by
the insanely talented Greg Kadel.
WOMEN'S BOARD
The epitome of American classic
beauty is Click model
Garrett Neff,
who has been shot by almost every
important photographer of our time
from Karl Lagerfeld to Mario Testino,
and has highlighted campaigns such
as Benetton and Calvin Klein.  He can
also be seen in the ever so coveted
fragrance ad, Calvin Klein Man, shot
by the one and only Fabien Baron.  He
is a fine example of a supermodel that
will prove to have staying power in this
highly fickle industry of fashion.
MEN'S BOARD
Jacques is Public Image's new rising
star.  Fresh to the market, the perfectly
chiseled specimen of a model can be
seen highlighting the new CK Jeans
Campaign and he is also slated to star
in the upcoming Lacoste Ads.  Keep a
look out for him in his NY runway
debut.  He will be everywhere, trust me.
Described as a sweet southern charmer
with a wacky personality, 19 year-old
Joseph Culp literally became a top
model over night.  Modeling was never a
dream for this Tennessee native, but
with the encouragement of his sister he
ended up in New York City, and was
suddenly being featured in magazines
such a Numero, V and Another
Magazine.  He is a regular in shows from
Marc by Marc Jacobs and Jil Sander
after only a couple of seasons.
