A relaxed and comfortable hairstyle the bun has gone
through several modern make-overs, resulting in a
look that is sheer classicism with a twist. On the
runways this Fall models adorned buns in many
variations that I am sure you will find a new style to
experiment with and make your own.
Recreate this Fall’s hottest hair trend, the bun. I
selected a look from Iceberg's Fall runway show which
is simple and easy to do at home for yourself.
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Comb
• Coated elastic band
• Bobby pins
• Styling gel
• Hairspray
Start by prepping your hair with something
nourishing and replenishing. I suggest
mixing a pea sized amount of Kerastase
Lumier, which will create hold and shine.

Using a small toothed comb, part the hair
according to the way you wear it. A side part
is always classic. Then firmly place the
comb at your scalp, pulling hair back
towards the nape of your neck.
Use a tight hair band, such as blax elastic bands, hold hair tightly at the nape
and securely wrap the blax elastic band into a low ponytail. Depending on your
hair length and density, this will determine the size of bun you will have.
Twist the ponytail in one direction until the length of the ponytail is completely
twisted. Slowly bend the ponytail until you notice the length the of the pony
creating an “S” pattern, follow the bend of the pony and begin to wrap it
around the base of the ponytail. At the end of the ponytail position use a hair
pin, curbie or bobby pin so that you can begin pinning the bun you have now
created at the base of the ponytail.
Using more pins create an “X” against the base of the ponytail until the bun
feels secure. Do a shake test to be sure. Finish your style with a medium
hold hairspray like Kerastase Double Force hairspray. And voila, you now
have a Fall classic look and an elegant style that is easy and clean, night or
day work or play this style works for almost everyone.
